Glycinde of Family Goniadidae

Glycinde Müller 1858

Type species: Glycinde multidens Müller 1858

Diagnosis of Glycinde : Proboscis very long, cylindrical, with numerous sclerotized 'papillae', without chevrons; jaws with circlet of 2 macrognaths and numerous micrognaths. Parapodia uniramous anteriorly, becoming biramous posteriorly; with dorsal and ventral cirri; notochaetae few, simple spines with terminal pointed tip; compound neurochaetae.
