Asychis Kinberg 1867
Type species: Asychis Atlanticus Kinberg 1867
Diagnosis of Asychis : Prostomial palpode prow-like. Lateral cephalic lobes well-developed with deep furrows on inner surface. Nuchal organs J- or U-shaped. 19 chaetigers. One rudimentary achaetigerous preanal segment. Dorsal pygidium lobe cordate (usually with 1-3 cirri) forming a deep funnel-like pocket with ventral lobe.
