Axiothella Verrill 1926
Type species: Axiothea catenata Malmgren 1865
Diagnosis of Axiothella : Acicular spines absent. 18-20 chaetigers. Anal plaque with long midventral cirrus and rim of shorter cirri.

Remarks: Hartman catalogue seems to place Axiothea Malmgren 1865 as a junior synonym to Axiothella . However it is a replaced junior homonym to Axiothea Pascoe 1864 (see Arwidsson 1907)
