Owenia Della Chiaje 1841
Type species: Owenia fusiformis Delle Chiaje 1844
Diagnosis of Owenia : Prostomium with terminal mouth surrounded by short dichotomously branched tentacles. First three chaetigers with notochaetae only. Notochaetae spinous capillaries; neurochaetae two-pronged (teeth adjacent) uncini. Pygidium with small pair of lobes.
