Lepidastheniella Monro 1924
Type species: Lepidastheniella comma Thomson 1902
Diagnosis of Lepidastheniella : Polynoid with more than 50 segments. Elytra on segments 2,4,5, then alternating to end of body. Neurochaetae stout, falcate, spined, uni- or bidentate tips.

Remarks: cf elytral distribution to Lepidasthenia (2,4,5, then alternating to 23, then on every third). Polynoe comma was made the type species by Monro.
