Neosabellaria Kirtley 1994
Type species: Sabellaria cementarium Moore 1906
Diagnosis of Neosabellaria : Sabellariid with opercular crown and stalk completely fused along entire anterior margin. Opercular paleae in 3 apparent concentric rows of three or four kinds. Without dorsal nuchal hooks or spines. With 3 parathoracic segments with lanceolate and companion spinous chaetae. Dorsal branchiae present on parathoracic and following segments, reducing in size until absent posteriorly. Cauda achaetous.
