Ficopomatus Southern 1921
Type species: Ficopomatus macrodon Southern 1921
Diagnosis of Ficopomatus : Seven thoracic segments, six uncinigerous; collar chaetae with coarse serrations (teeth). Uncini with 6-12 teeth. Geniculate chaetae present in abdomen. Operculum bulbous, fig-shaped, terminated by horny plate, with or without spines; opercular peduncle without wings. Tube white, circular with or without flared peristome rings.
